This e mail is coming from the "redneck Riviera" other wise known as the Florida Pan Handle. I've hung my hat here for almost 3 years since retiring in Calif. This year I spent a month at Bear lake State Park, Va as a Camp Host. Last year I hosted in Nevada. I did have a first this year and that was a Tornado, hit the park. No damage to any campers though, but lots of trees down. This past month I went to Key West, toured the Mel Fisher Museum and the Truman Winter White House. Next year I hope to see Wis,Tenn,Ken, and maybe some areas around the Great Lakes as I've never been there, welll as soon as it gets abouve 60 anyway. If anybody has some recommendations please pass them on. If y'all come this way stop by in Fort Walton Beach, the city needs those dollars. Bob Ackert  PS I have a 1993 Automate and it's a honey.

Comments:  purchased a used '93 Automate. We love it but have questions as to how different things should work. ie: the batteries need recharging in a day or two when nothing but the clock of the redio are requiring battery. We have a generator to recharge but can we recharge both while hooked up or do we take them out. Lots of other questions. Will be sending in our membership dues.

Comments:  Any used AutoMates for sale! Please see the entry in the Travel Chat section. By the way this is Jim Stephenson, and we are working with the WebMaster to get this Guest Book more user friendly. Once we're ready I hope you folks will start to use the Page for these sorts of communications.

Comments:  Thanks to Beverly we are attempting to make the Guest Book more user friendly and useable. Hope you find it and use it. For instance - where are you now, and what do you recommend? Where does the road end? Which are the good places to visit on the way? Have you had any problems - and what were your solutions? What do you need help with? Happy Travels!!

Ed and Claudia Brooks: We have a 2003, mint condition, 31 foot 5th wheel with 2 slides, large rear window with middle kitchen, that we are selling. I can email or fax a floor plan or answer questions by phone. We are asking $45,000. We are located in Santa Rosa.

Ernie Grafiada: Great pictures. I am the owner of a 1983 AutoMate 24' Front Kitchen travel trailer. When I compared it to other newer travel trailers I was impressed with my AutoMates cabinet space, thoughtfulness, and overall quality. I was surprised because mine is so much older. Question...Are generators ever installed on travel trailers?   Sat Sep 8 00:55:30 2001

Ronald L. Lyons: My wife and I have been shopping for a 5th wheel for about 2 years now and finally found AutoMate. We are convinced AutoMate is the very best. We were wondering if you know of any used 5th wheel AutoMates for sale? We also have toured the AutoMate factory and are considering a new one if we can not find a used one that suits us. If you or someone in the club wishes to contact us and give us advice on the options we should get if we buy a new one we would greatly appreciate it. Any additional information you may have would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ron and Joyce Lyons  Mon Aug 6 19:27:50 2001

I probably could have eaten less but I'll recover from that. Let us know when the Fall dates are set. David Tavernetti
